Programs

Afterschool Tennis & Education Program

Dedicated to enriching the lives of children through the sport of tennis, combining the fundamentals of tennis with vital social and emotional learning. We focus on providing a well-rounded experience that promotes social interaction, a healthy lifestyle, and, most importantly, fun. Our curriculum integrates activities designed to build self-awareness, self-confidence, and emotional resilience. Children learn proper grip, footwork, strokes, and game strategies, laying the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of tennis. Our program encourages teamwork and cooperation, helping kids develop strong interpersonal skills. Tennis is a great way to promote physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, and we emphasize the importance of regular exercise and good nutrition. We believe that learning is most effective when it’s enjoyable, so our sessions are designed to be engaging and entertaining, ensuring that kids look forward to every class. 

Program Duration & Format: Determined by funding and location; 60 minutes sessions, once per week for the entire school year ideally with small groups of up to 12 at a time;  Tennis courts ARE NOT a requirement. We have portable tennis equipment that allows us to offer tennis indoors and outdoors.

Youth Tennis Playdays/Team Challenges

This program is a low-pressure environment that allows youth to develop their skills through play without an emphasis on instruction or results. Players will enjoy free play, cooperative play, and team competition with short, timed matches.

Program Duration & Format:

1 day events for 2 hours

Tennis 101 Program

These are structured lessons where youth receive instruction in a group setting. With lessons being led by the tennis coach, youth are taught the fundamental tennis skills in a social and interactive environment. Participants engage in drills, exercises, and games to practice and improve their skills while also promoting teamwork and sportsmanship among the group. Participants develop their tennis abilities, build confidence, and foster a lifelong passion for the sport.

Program Duration & Format:

Ongoing; 8-week sessions; 60-minute classes; one day per week

Youth Private Lessons

These lessons offer one-on-one instruction. Participants receive individualized attention and customized coaching tailored to the specific needs and skill level of the athlete. Athletes focus on technique, footwork, strategy, mental training, and other aspects of the game. Faster progress and improved skills occur more effectively during these sessions.

Program Duration & Format:

Based on client preference; typically for 30-60 minutes @ 1 day per week

Spring & Summer Tennis Camps at Clark-Atlanta University

These camps are designed to teach youth the fundamentals of tennis in a fun and engaging environment. Participants receive instruction from experienced coaches who teach them basic skills such as proper grip, footwork, shot technique and game strategies. These camps cater to all skill levels. 

Program Duration & Format:

Spring Camp: 1 week; 8am to 4pm

Summer Camp: 2 weeks; 8am to 4pm

Youth Motivational Speaking

Our youth motivational speaking services are designed to inspire and empower young individuals to reach their full potential. Through engaging and impactful presentations, we address key topics such as self-confidence, resilience, goal-setting, and overcoming challenges. Our aim is to equip youth with the tools and mindset needed to succeed both on and off the tennis court. Join us in fostering a positive and motivating environment for the next generation.
